Kukup Trip + UOC
On last sat and sun, i went back to my grandma's hse with my family~ The purpose of this visit was actually to celebrate my grandma's 80th birthday at the kukup chalet. All my relatives came back from diff parts of msia to celebrate my grandma's bday. However, we hid the real intention of the chalet from my grandma and told her that the chalet is just a normal family gathering, cos we wanted to give her a surprise. hehe.
We set off from my grandma's hse from pontian and we took a 30min ride to kukup. Since my relatives had to park their cars, we alighted at the carpark which is around 10mins walk to the chalet. The sun was damn hot, so we decided to take a shuttle to the chalet.
The shuttle was like the coolest vehicle i took in my life so far. Cos this is how it looks like: This is the van that we took. lol. The uncle driving the van told me that the van was new 30 yrs back. LOL. He was damn high during the ride and he sang all the 儿歌s throughout the ride. LOL.
The door fell off alrdy and the back door was tied to the car using nylon strings. LOL. I didnt dare to lean onto any car parts cos i scared the parts will fall off from the car if i lean on them. lol.
So this is where we sat during the ride. I cant sit straight cos my head will hit the top of the van. lol. Not a very comfy ride, but at least we reached the chalet safe and sound. lol.
So this was the chalet we went to-- Kukup Oceanic Sky.
The chalet was.... DAMN BIG. I've went to another kukup chalet before this, and size of the last chalet was totally not comparable with this chalet. Its like the biggest chalet that i've ever stayed in. lol.
The place was damn spacious. There's 2 ktv systems (one at the living room and another in an air-con room), 8 bedrooms (each bedroom can hold 12 people). The place is enough for at least 50 people. lol.
My cousins cant wait to start the k sessions once we reached. haha.
There's like 10 cubicles for the toilets. O_O Even if everyone having stomachache at the same time there also wont be any jam. lol.
There's even a table tennis table. That's my dad and my cousin playing.

The back of the chalet allows us to fish and enjoy the beautiful mangrove scenery.
There's a huge 亭子 for us to chit chat and enjoy the sea breeze~
Even if u dont know how to fish, there's a machine-operated fishing net to catch the fishes. And these were some of the things that we caught..

This is a very elaborated fishing kit that belongs to my uncle. All the fishing gears~ super cool~

The people over there made 虾饼, beehoon and curry for high tea. U'll never get hungry at the chalet, the people will stuff u with unlimited amount of food. lol.
My uncles and cousins bought all their barang barang to take nice pics for us. haha.

Had bbq food cooked by the people at the chalet~ sotong, chicken wings, prawns, satays, sausages, sweet potatoes.. etc~ yum yum! XD

We had the bday celebration at night after the dinner and here's the polaroids! =) My grandma was super cute. She doesnt like to take photo usually and this time round she became the 主角, so she had to appear in every single photo. She even did a (V) in the photos. KAWAII~ XD

My grandma looking at the polaroids and her present. Although she 'complain' that we dont need go through all the troubles to organise a bday celebration for her, i can see the 感动 in her eyes. The expression on her face is most satisfying moment that i had for the trip. =)
After i came back from the kukup trip, i went for union orientation camp immediately.
The camp was.. a disaster. The most miserable camp that i went to. =.=
And i wont elaborate any further about the camp cos i dont feel like talking anymore about it.
