Working at Esplanade
Worked for 4 days as surveyor at Esplanade's Mosaic Music Fest. I can say that this job is totally pure enjoyment. No stress at all. Enjoy lots of gd music and spent time chit chatting with the ppl i surveyed. SO DAMN FUN LA~~~ HAHA. XD My tag. Looked so pro with the tag on and carrying the clipboards. Cool experience~ The survey forms. This is the longest survey i ever seen. Ppl had to spend like ard 15mins to complete it. Its more like an assignment than a survey. =.= My supervisor playin with MY psp. =.= So can c my working condition there... The nightview along the open theatre of Esplanade. So calm and relaxing~ ^^ I love the performances outside, esp the rock bands on fri!!! WOOSH~ haha. Gotten a nokia lanyard and photo (with my colleague and me) with frame for FREE. SO COOL~The followings are jux random pics i took these few days..  A stray rabbit i saw resting under a tree at the playground.. Kawaii neh~ nv seen a stray rabbit b4. Cruel owner.. Abandon such a cute creature.=( Pretty rainbow i saw at admiralty park ytd evening. Registered for the uni courses FINALLY. Netball. The remembered.
Actually wanted to blog abt netball long ago, juz that i dont have sufficient motivation to do so. HAHA. But was so tempted to 'summarise' what i've gone through the past 2 yrs in AJ netball.JC netball teams are never like secondary sch netball. JC netball requires much more teamwork (bcos there's so few ppl) and determination. I've grown so much (thx god nt physically..) mentally, so much so that onli an emotional tsunami can kill me. haha. Miss the days~  Joined the team 1 day after O lvl. Started out with only 3 ppl fr sec sch. Tough times with all the physical trainings. X_X The trios and senior all tired-out after a whole night of training~ One of the random pics taken after sch. Trying to act ah lian with my kindergarten uni. HAHA. I went KL for trainin during sch hols. Gotten this stupiak rashes (the cause is still unknown till now) which was so bad that i had to go clinic for injection halfway through training. Even missed training for whole day. T_T Put this photo here jux to REMIND myself that i've been to this restaurant. HAHA. Met an unexpected grp of soccer guys there. Evidence to show that i really been there for trainin. LOL. The players of my batch. 2 left us and kah kah (nt inside pic) joined. We had chalet every yr. My idol is inside this pic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg~~ haha. We even went to Bukit Timah hill climbing for team bonding. haha. Everything is possible with our teacher-in-charge ard. We trained hard and we played hard. hehe. *jump* The most unforgettable trip muz be the aust trip to perth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN memorable... Its really a rare chance to train sooooooo far away fr sg. So cool~ Our fitness were at the optimum at that time. Ask me to do the same thing now, i'll.. X_X. *faints* The "ang mohs" who were all below 16 and yet looked older and even taller than me. haha. The shooters in action! 100% focus for shooting on my side. haha. The super cool (as in the breeze is cool but the sun ray isnt =.=) beach at perth. Aww~ the crazy days we had~ cant forget them... A test on facebook abt which type of woman im. The result:Lovely Lady You are lovely and caring. You help others and spread out a lot of sympathy. Your life aim maybe is to serve the people. But your weakness is that you forget about yourself, your own needs. All your time is hold back for your friends and family. You are always there for people in trouble. Ready for any emergency. You make a lot of sacrifices just to be a good human. But every woman has her needs, her longings and a destiny. Don't loose yourself in work or curing other people's souls. You will have your own problems in your life. Another problem is that you don't say your opinion when it's right and important to say it. People trample onto your soul if you are always so kind and lovely and helpful. They will play on you. Though you should try to relax more and enjoy your life, you should not loose the gift that was given to you to help others . Not everyone is created this way... You are uniqe and rare! Pretty true... Mayb not the lovely part.. Lol. Been so miserable nowadays considering for other's feelings before doing anything for myself. I need to relax~~~ ^^ Saturday, 14 March 2009
wow.. Jux reached home nt long ago. Nearly got chopped into mince meat by mum. 1st time reached home soooo late. =pBut i enjoyed my job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO DAMN FUN LA~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I think all my friends shuld join. Fun till~~~ HAHA. Being a surveyer (or what my supervusor said " Survey executive") for Mosaic Music Fest is super super fun! All the performances.. Saw Mike Stern (is he very famous? some1 tell me pls.. I dunno ang mo stars.. lol) and MChotdog! Went for the dinner with 4/6 clique on mon as 'farewell' dnr for our 2 "NS-men-to-be" hong and yang. Had an ultra big feast at Breeks and a nice chat with the clique.. =) Sunflower given by a lady working at Mary Chia. I took the flower like a reflex action, and walked away (i did say "thank you" before i leave! Im not so rude.. haha.) before she can finish tellin me abt their 'free' spa treatment. HAHA. Nice flower anw~ =p The pretty cocktail that hong and yang ordered. Still prefer the cocktail at fish and co... =p Hong and yang... Going off on fri. Take care of urself in tekong! =D Me and kat. My newhairstyle revealed. Trying to look less ah lian by avoidin stylin it. haha. The girls! Tady, peiqi, kat and me! dont know my purpose of hidin.. lol. 1 more! Course course~
Not really in the mood to comment on my results for the past few days, so i didnt bother to update my blog. But life has to go on~Here's my result: GP: B (like OMG! I got a B! B! B! Nv tot of that before.. Haha.) Bio: B ( after worrying so much that i flung this sub. End to b my onli B for H2.=.=) Chem: C (Kind of expected.. I got U for prelims..) Maths: C (The best result in my JC life. I have been getting U since the 1st Maths exam in JC.. lol.) CLL: C (Disappointed with this.. Tot i could at least get a B.. Haix~) So the rank pt is 76. Cant expect much. With half of my sch life spent nt on studies, think this result is quite decent and acceptable for me. =.= Anw~ haven decide which course to take cos my choices r quite limited. Went to SMU open hse today, wishing that it'll spark my interest for their courses. I can juz simply say that the open hse is the most boring open hse i've been to. *yawns* -.-zZ I tink i stayed there for abt 40 mins onli... lol.  Saw this at Chipper at Raffles Link. The top is in correct chinese.. But the bottom sentence...“请不要丢在这里垃圾好吗？”(plz dont throw here rubbish ok????) If i assume the fellow is a huge 'potato' and most prob hate chinese, then he or she shuld direct translate "pls do not throw ur rubbish here", and the sentence will b “请不要丢垃圾在这里好吗？”. Though its still grammatically incorrect, but it makes more sense to me... But which planet's grammer structure is it for the 1 written? Imagine a foreigner (one that understand chinese. lol.) sees this. They muz b wondering if chinese in sg even study chinese in sch.. =.= If i have a permanent marker remover at that time, i'll most prob remove it away asap. Totally caught my attention when i saw it at cwp for the 1st time~ Nice baby~ O_O but before thinkin of that... there's more worryin issue... im...Getting my results in another 11hrs time~ OMG. *hyperventilating* X_X Hopefully i can survive after i get my results. Change
 Pretty sick of the previous blogskin, so jux make a change before i start to get over-optimistic abt life. lol.
I have 3 students now. I think i'll take up home tutoring as my source of income. A lvl results release date is confirm on 6 March. Dont think i'll be able to slp this week. X_X Turning into a vampire soon... cos i've been slpin ltr than 2am everyday. Jux dont feel like slpin early even though my brain is protesting for me to slp. Staring at the computer screen perhaps is a better option to escape the reality. |
