Bali trip 2012 July! :D
So yay!!! I'm back to blogging finally~ haha. It has been forever since i last blogged. Been traveling so much within this one year that i felt its totally a waste not blogging about them. So I'm gonna start with my Bali trip last year July! :D

Please pardon me if I'm not mentioning the name of the places i went to during the trip. I think i have some memory problem remembering the names of the attractions/restaurants over there. So most probably most description of the places will be "some awesome restaurant" or "some great temple" etc in this entry. :p

And so~ I went with Yu Ting and Si Min(and TK, who is not in the pic cos he's already at Bali earlier than us for work). The 3 of us took the plane from Singapore to Bali. This was my first time traveling (on plane) with my friends! So excited! :D

And we were all millionaires over there! How i wish they are all SGD instead. lol. -___-
My first meal over there! Overall the food at Bali is fantasticccc. I didnt really go to many of the local food stalls cos they're mainly VERY spicy, which is totally off my tolerance for spiciness or the food safety is pretty dubious. lol. So we had most of our meals at restaurants which look super atas (they are mostly beside a beach) but at a very economical price (each meal at 20sgd can allow u to eat like a king/queen).

This particular restaurant has an awesome ambiance with trees decorated with small little lighting and was playing nice love songs which made the whole place super romantic. I had this set meal with steak (the gravy is.. extreme goodness.haha) and this potato pie that is so good i cant find a suitable adjective for it. lol.

After our satisfying meal, we headed to our hotel for a good night rest~
We stayed in the ginormous suite that has a ultra huge living room that's almost sufficient for people to jog around. lol. There's 2 rooms, each with a bathroom. The master bedroom even has a bathtub~~~ Though Yu Ting and TK didn't utilize it at all~ WHY??? hahaha.
 The master bedroom!
We even have a wonderful kitchen. But we didn't have the chance to use it all since the food outside are already SO GOOD. haha.
 We also have a balcony!
Trying to emo at the balcony. lol.
The hotel has 2 pools! One of them is at the ground floor and another is at the ROOFTOP. Will show the one at the rooftop later in the post. haha.
A big mirror is one of the most important items that i NEED in my room. haha. self shot with cute MinMin behind~ :) Although dresses that are longer behind are no longer in the fashion trend now, i still love wearing it. Can hide my big butt and show off my legs. haha.
With our cheery Min Min! Love our smiley Min Min~ Must smile more! :D
We have our breakfast at the rooftop! The dishes are like the best breakfast I've ever gotten in hotels. They are a wide variety, so tasty and fresh! Min Min looking like a model picking her breakfast. hehe~ :)
 The juices!
The table we are having breakfast! Nice breeze and view! A perfect start for our day!
And that's this uncle cooking scramble eggs for us. All smiley and paiseh when i took pic of him. haha. Like a cute. :3
We hired this driver to get us around the island as public transport at Bali is extremely inconvenient. Actually we spent quite a large proportion of our money on just transportation. =.=
Sunny day everyday over there! Lucky max!
We went to this place selling sliver jewelries. Couldn't buy anything there cos everything is at least 100sgd??? But that's not the main point. The building is so breathe-taking with all the carvings covering the building! There's even more inside the building, but no photography is allowed so yup, no pic. =3=
There's so much details for each carving!
 Humph!
I guess I'm not that entertaining to u huh? lol.

The staff making silver accessories for us (there's really only just us visiting the place. lol.) to see.
And then we visited this monkey hill with.. monkeys inside. *shows you-dont-say face* lol. The monkeys there are pretty shy and tamed, so u can feed them and take photos of them. :)
 A family of monkeyyyys~
Or ya, and we visited this famous temple (and of course i don't remember the name) with quite a number of tourists inside. We queued for this photo. lol.
Had our lunch at this famous roasted pork stall! The koropoks we had before our main meal! :)
Although the sauce don't look quite appetizing, i swear the taste is 100 fold nicer than how it looks. haha. The roasted skin is not as crispy as i thought though. lol.
Yums!!! By the way, there's no chairs and the table is actually very low so we are sitting on the floor. lol.
Fried pork skin! I think I'm the only one in the group to appreciate it. haha.
After lunch we got to this famous place with beautiful temples and sunset~ Look at the sky~ and the girl in the picture also please. haha. No filter and its so pretty (the sky the sky, not the girl. lol.) already!
TK, the photographer instructing Min Min to give him a model pose. haha.
Got to this isolated temple that is so out of place it looks mystical. haha.
A pic just beside the temple. :)
This is how the temple look from far. Protruding out into the sea. Interesting right???
This pic almost look like a picture of Jurassic Park. lol.
And then, we walked to this temple that is only accessible when its low tide. During high tide, the path to the temple will be cover with water. So everybody is crowding at the temple during low tide to get a good photo of it.
Children swimming in shallow holes filled with water near the temple. haha. Although its the seaside, the land don't really feel like sand, and felt like rocks instead. So building a sand castle there is impossible. lol.
A pic of Min Min, Yu Ting and TK using the temple (and tourists -.-) as backdrop!

And its time for the sunset!
The pic is not doing the beautiful sunset we see with our eyes. Its so pretty~

So the next day, the trios went for some mountain climbing that i didn't join, reason being.. I'm just too lazy. HAHA. To me, Bali is for ultimate chilling, so mountain climbing is definitely too vigorous for me. So I stayed in the hotel and nua-ed my morning away. HAHA.
I was at the rooftop pool! No need go MBS to swim at the rooftop, Bali has it too! Cos there isn't any other people there, so i had the whole pool to myself. haha.
And i didn't know how to swim at that time (I know how to swim now! :D), so i was soaking in the water.. which explains for my specs. And i was so afraid i'll drop my phone into the water while i cam whored. LOL.

So I spent my whole morning away sun tanning and  soaking in the water until the trios got back from their hike. :)
At the front lobby of the hotel! Time for some serious shopping! :)

Didn't buy too many things over there cos everything there is targeted to us tourist. lol. Nice to take a look around the shop houses though. :)
And we saw this Statue of liberal Oreo??? haha.
Dinner at another atas restaurant beside the sea! Fine dining that's pretty pricey. :S
Pic with my dinner! :)
The next day, we went to the pool at the ground floor to swim... or maybe i should say, TK and Yu Ting were trying their best to teach me how to swim. haha. But I guess I'm really a lousy student. haha. Must post for a pic nevertheless. hahaha.
Finding our inner peace. Going all zen at Bali~ LOL.
After 'swimming' we are all ready to go out again! :) I bought everything I was wearing (except the shade) in the picture at Bali! :)
We went to this famous church where people all around the world will come to have their wedding ceremony and make their wedding vows.
Its so pretty inside and the church is facing the sea. So the sea is just behind the couple when their making their wedding vows. WHY SO ROMANTIC ONE?? T^T I ish also want!!! T^T
And of course we must take a jump shot at the beach just beside the church. haha.
And seafood platter for our lunch! There's this fried duck dish that TK loves so much he bought it again for lunch the next day. haha.
And before we know it~ its dinner time already. HAHA. We had our dinner at this restaurant (of course by the sea) with Balinese dance show and group of band going around singing at the tables. Awesome atmosphere to chill!
Since it was the last night at Bali, we decided to splurge like king and queens for the night. My first time having lobster (the one on the right) and also had different seafood~ and there's this mini stall selling BBQ corns that i must say it tasted HEAVENLY.
For the last day of trip, we went to this park that usually local couples will go. There's is this place in the park called Water Blow and this is because...
U get to see the wave going up as high as 10 metres or maybe more just right infront of your eyes. O_O U can heard the rumbling of the waves hitting the rocks on the shore and in a few seconds the wave will just splash up super high. Just make sure u stay far enough so u don't get wet. haha.
Another pic of the wave~ imagine u are standing at the bridge in this pic. That will definitely be a good shower. haha.
Lunch time! This is grilled mahi mahi fish which is a complimentary dish! The fish is so juicy and sweet! And the sauce is superb too!
Having their tropical drink with a number of fruits inside that i can't remember now what there are. haha.
And I had rosemary roast chicken with wedges! One of the best rosemary roast chicken i had. :D
That day was very close to TK's birthday, so we got a cake and had a mini celebration for him! :)
 Choco cake! :)
And then its time to go home~ T-T Had so much fun and saw so many new things during the trip! Though the expenses there are quite steep, I think its definitely worth a visit! Gonna go there again if i have the chance! And also.. I love my travel buddies! Let's go traveling again ok? :D

That's all for now. Gonna blog about more trips soon! :)
