Heard about this song quite some time back, but didnt really pay attention to it. Just now my friend gave me the link and ask me to listen to this song. So just now was like the 1st time i really listen and understand what he's singing.

Was kinda attracted to his voice, so i did some research about the background of this singer. He is Chris Medina, and he was a contestant in American Idol. His fiancée was severely injured and paralysed in a car accident just before they were going to marry. However, he still chose to marry her and is willing to take care of her for the rest of his life. And this song is inspired by his story.

After hearing this story im even more touched by voice. T_T Its like singing his heart out.. showing his undying love for his wife, regardless of what happened to her.

So true.. what are words if u dont mean anything? The words u say meant a lot to some people even without u realising it. The closer the person is to u, the greater the impact u have on them. So, dont make any promise to anyone if u know that u are going to break the promise someday. A broken promise can mean a broken heart or even broken hearts.

Once a victim of broken promises, so i can deeply understand how hurtful it is. Dont say some things when u only have a strong feeling towards it at that moment, say it and make sure what u've said can stay as it is for as long as u live.

Suddenly feel very angsty now cause i recalled what someone said to me about.. 2 yrs back? Believing in empty promises really wasted my life. I guess this kind of situation is even worse on married couples, when one party promises "Im going to change myself just for u", "there's no one other than u that i love", "u are the only one that im going to love for rest of my life." and then ended up sleeping with another person and even have the guts to say "u are definitely not the one that i love". Chopping and mincing this kind of people up is not even enough to forgive them.

Ok.. getting kinda too agitated already. *breathes* lol. Kinda making promises like some ugly beast trying to pounce on people. lol.

What i wanna say is.. promises are still beautiful... IF people can keep promises.. or else just forget about making them in the 1st place.
