Hmm~ was reading xiaxue's blog some time back and her blog inspired me to blog abt makeovers. Some people may say that xiaxue's is bimbo.. fake.. bitchy.. etc. but in my opinion, i feel that she's kinda a cool person.

She's willing to be open about what she did to make herself to look better physically. She admitted she did 2 eye jobs (cutting her double eyelids and cutting end of her eyes to make her eyes look larger) and 2 nose jobs (there's 2 cos the first one made her nose crooked, so she did another one to correct it). She even shared a video about the details of her plastic surgery, not fearing ppl to call her a plastic. She also shared video about how she did her makeup and she also admitted she did some photoshop on her photos. Kinda brave.

Its still a big difference. So can see that makeup really helps alot~

I personally feel that we shouldn't criticize people who did plastic surgery... cos it really takes huge load of courage to go through the whole process. The pain during the surgery, the months of swelling, the amount of money u have to invest and the negative comments other people may say about u (eg. fake, plastic.. blah blah). These people have the determination to endure through all these crap in order to look prettier. So, dont criticize them if dont have the courage urself.

Wow. I say like i did plastic surgery before. Fending for all plastics. lol. Im still natural. haha.

Beauty is always attainable, it only depends on the extent of how far u wanna go.

If u are scared of pain or u have no money for a surgery, makeup can do as well too~ and i believe the key points to a successful makeup is the focus on the eyes. U need a good eyeshadow, fake eyelashes and suitable contact lenses. Below are a few excellent examples:
This one puts here focus on the the eyeshadow~ eyeshadow with the correct dark shading at the upper and lower ends of ur eyes can create an illusion that ur eyes are bigger. But always be cautious about the amount u put, excessive usage turns u into a panda instead. lol.
This is a very natural makeup~ but this doesnt means she didnt do anything to her face. The important point for her makeover is her contact lenses. Coloured lenses with wide eyes effect can make ur eyes bigger. Also, while drawing the eyeliner, u have to draw as close to ur lashes as possible and fill up any empty gaps to make its seems that u have thick lashes.
Err.. this one is a little.. horrifying. HAHA. I guess she's just trying to make herself as ugly as possible for the before photo to set the the contrast with the after photo. LOL. But u can see that she did some styling to her hair. So.. Styling ur hair is impt too!
This is the most kua zhang one i ever seen. She spam alot of foundation to create a good complexion. She also use the double eyelid stickers for her double eyelids. This is the most critical part to create bigger eyes if u are single eyelids or ur double eyelids are not obvious (like mine. =3=). But the stickers are a nuisance to me as they are hard to handle and some practise is required to perfect the skill. Lol.

If u say that u dont know how to makeup, u can go to youtube to search for makeup and hair styling tutorials. This is how i learn to makeup. A few good ones are Queenie and Michelle Phan~

If u dont know how to dress, look at fashion magazines. Not to buy the freaking atas clothes that cost a few k, but to know what's the fashion trend and buy their lookalikes at shops like.. New Look.. Cotton On.. etc. Or u can go to bugis streets.. sometimes u'll be amazed of what u fish out fr the shops there. haha. Or u can go blog shops.. the clothes are super cheap sometimes. haha.

So as u can see, beauty is in our hands. It all just depends on whether u want to put in the effort to make urself look better. Makeup can be time-consuming at times, but.. no pain, no gain isnt it? lol.

HAHA.Before and after makeup~ there's some diff i guess? haha. Eyes a little bigger and my panda eyes lighter. But there's a mistake that i made. I didnt put on my contact lenses. =p

Act cute photo. lol. The diff in the complexion is kinda obvious here. Im using Silky Girl's bb cream, and it gives some kind of glow to the face. So it adds some rosy colour to my face.
